The first thing you need to do is check that the idCAT is in the browser's certificate store:
- With Mozilla Firefox : Go to Tools - Settings - Privacy and Security - Certificates - Show certificates - Your certificates
- With Google Chrome : Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Security > Manage device certificates > Personal
- With Safari : Open the "Finder" menu and type the word "keyboards", then the "keyboards" folder on your computer will open. In the subsection "My certificates" you can check if the certificate appears.
- Microsoft Edge: Go to Settings > Privacy > Security > Manage Certificates > Certificates > Personal
Check that your first name, surname and document number on the idCAT are the same as those on your identification document.
Otherwise, you will have to go to a Registration Entity idCAT to request the revocation and reissuance of the certificate, as you will not be able to identify yourself with the public administration.
To confirm that your idCAT is working correctly, you can try to identify yourself on the website of a public administration or the Ens de Proves DEMO e-TRAM (the procedures carried out have no legal validity).
In this regard, access the Generic Instance from the "Start" button and select the "Digital Certificate" option:
If you can access it correctly, your certificate is properly installed in the internet browser and is working properly.
