If you need to uninstall the idCAT Certificate because you have revoked it, it has expired, or because you will no longer use it, you will need to follow the following steps depending on the browser or device from which you want to uninstall it:
Step 1 : Go to Tools > Settings > Privacy and Security > Show certificates
Step 2 : Select the certificate with your name, issued by EC-Ciutadania, and click the “Delete” button.
Step 3: Select that you agree to delete the certificate:
The idCAT Certificate can no longer be used in the Firefox browser.
Step 1: Go to the three vertical dots button in the upper right. Option Settings > Privacy & Security > Security > Manage certificates > Manage imported Windows certificates
Step 2 : Select the certificate with your name, issued by EC-Ciutadania, and click the “Remove” button.
Step 3 : The wizard will ask you if you want to delete the certificate; select yes:
The idCAT Certificat can no longer be used in the Google Chrome browser.
Step 1: Go to Keychain Access > Login > My Certificates
Step 2: Select the certificate you want to delete, you will see that it shows you that it has a private key.
Step 3: on the private key of the certificate, click the right mouse button, a window with several options will open, select “Delete”.
Step 4: The wizard will ask you if you want to delete the certificate; confirm by pressing the delete button.
The idCAT Certificate can no longer be used on the Mac.
Step 1: In the Microsoft Edge browser, go to the three horizontal dots button in the upper right > Settings > Privacy, search and services tab > Security. At this point, click on the “Manage Certificates” button and then the “Personal” tab.
Step 2: select the certificate with your name, issued by EC-Ciutadania, and click on the “Remove” button.
Step 3 : The wizard will ask you if you want to delete the certificate; press the Yes button.
The idCAT Certificate can no longer be used in the Microsoft Edge browser.
Step 1 : Go to "Settings" > "Security and privacy" > "Other security settings" > "User certificates" (this path may vary depending on the model, if it does not match your device, search with the magnifying glass for "user certificates") and select your certificate by clicking on your name:
Step 2: Click "Delete"
The idCAT Certificat can no longer be used on this Android smartphone or tablet.
Step 1 : Go to "Tools" > "General" > "VPN" and in the "Configuration Profiles" section select your idCAT Certificate by clicking on your name:
If you have more than one certificate and are unsure which is the idCAT Certificate, you can check which one it is by accessing "More details". It must be issued by "EC-Ciutadania":
Step 2: Click "Delete Profile"
Step 3: Enter your iPhone code:
The idCAT Certificat can no longer be used on this iPhone/iPad.
